MANILA, Philippines -- President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has called on all Filipinos to sacrifice this Lenten season so that the nation could be saved from deeper poverty and disunity.
***Arroyo does not understand poverty. She asks for more sacrifice from a nation that has not not felt decency of living for centuries. When was the last wage hike again?
