LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines -- Monday’s mid-term balloting generally went on peacefully in the Southern Tagalog and Bicol regions but there were reports of massive vote buying in Albay, Catanduanes and Quezon and ethnic Mangyans were herded to polling places in Mindoro.
