‘No more holiday economics’

MANILA, Philippines It’s final -- the May 1 holiday stays. Malacañang has apparently gotten over its penchant for shifting holiday observances as part of its “holiday economics,” a term coined by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo in 2001 to boost tourism.
