Justice for slain farmer

Govt scored for inaction over farmer’s slay in Bicol

Militant human rights groups scored the government over the weekend for its two-week silence on the murder of a farmer in Bicol last April 16.

***Poor people don't have a chance in this bourgeoise society. Problem is that 90% are poor. The divide is getting wider and wider. When the synthesis do happen, all hell will break loose. What prevents it from happening? Well, religion. No one will start a revolution without leaders. Leaders cannot thrive because they know they cannot stir the public to action.

And why? Because Filipinos are generally patient and sacrificial (a proper adjective for a lamb to be slaughtered). They believe that God will punish the evil and reward the good people. In the afterlife.

But such belief has pushed the Filipino people to inaction. The real problem is looking to the afterlife. Look to this day, says Kalidasa. Tomorrow is a vision. Yesterday, a dream.

Unite, oh dear people! Unite the divided clans and stand up against the oppression of the rich few.
