MANILA, Philippines--The Philippine Roman Catholic hierarchy urged Filipinos on Sunday to share their fortunes with the poor but frowned on donations from “jueteng" operators that the late Jaime Cardinal L. Sin had previously justified as acceptable.
***Frowned? Define frowned. Is it acceptable now or not? And how does the Church identify a donation as coming from a jueteng operator? Hmmm.... More questions. Hypocrisy gives rise to more questions. Firm then is not the word.
